Sitting down to Thanksgiving dinner at one o’clock
Cause I gotta get to work at a quarter to two.
Can’t say grace when I’m in this race.
No time to catch up with Aunt May or Uncle Harry.
Pass the gravy and please don’t tarry.
Cause Christmas is a month away.
Got lots of empty shelves to stock.
With useless crap that must be bought
By shoppers hunting for deals and bargains
On the one day of the year
That was set aside to count our blessings.
Skip the small talk and pass the dressing!
